This mezcal features vibrant tasting notes of nori, roasted green pepper, and cantaloupe. La Luna Bruto is crafted from maguey Bruto, a variety that belongs to the Inaequidens agave family. The plants are gathered from wild groves nearby Etucuaro, Michoacan, and offer a low sugar content and yield. They are cooked for 168 hours, then rest for 288 hours, and fermented for 192 hours.
