This black rum is made from fermented molasses and distilled in Jamaican pot stills. It is aged for up to five years, and is a unique blend of light, very light, and heavy pot still rums from the Worthy Park Estate - a renowned rum producer since 1670. To enhance its rich flavor and aroma, double-strength black sugar-based caramel is added, resulting in a distinctively Jamaican rum with over-ripe banana scents and flavors, balanced by notes of spice, sugar cane, and ripe fruit. The finish is reminiscent of the aroma, with a tropical touch of ripe bananas and a hint of vegetal notes.
