Dating back to 1824 The Glenlivet is the oldest legal distiller from Scotland. The Glenlivet has a pale gold color and has always been about lightness with a subtle complexity and solid base. This 12 year old single scotch malt whisky is more on the sweet side. With a richness derived from being aged partially in 2nd or 3rd fill bourbon casks giving off subtle fragrances of vanilla, lemon, toffee and honeysuckle. Resulting in a long gently warming finish.
