Sagamore Rye Whiskey is a carefully crafted blend of two straight rye mash bills, aged in high-char American oak barrels for 4 to 6 years. One bill is high-rye, enhancing the flavor with hints of cinnamon and clove, while the other is low-rye, imparting notes of caramel, honey, and citrus peel. Our team's deliberate process includes proofing the final spirit with limestone-filtered water from our spring house, built in 1909, showcasing the traditional characteristics of Maryland-style rye whiskey.
