Dr Bill, the Director of Whisky Creation, has always had a passion for adventure. With this single malt, he set out to craft a whisky that would mirror his unpredictable adventures. The Quinta Ruban 14 Years Old is a journey into a mysterious and tantalizing forest, where the wind carries hints of peppermint and bursts of rich chocolate. Beginning in our towering stills, it starts off fruity and smooth, then gradually ages for 14 years in bourbon and port casks from Portugal. The end result is a blend of luxurious flavors, with notes of walnut and black pepper, mandarin orange and melted marshmallow, and a combination of dark chocolate and peppermint. Like venturing into an unknown world of chocolate, mint, and orange, this journey is just as delightful as the destination.
