Part of the Del Maguey Vino de Mezcal series, Del Maguey San Pablo Ameyaltepec is often referred to as Papalote de Puebla. Crafted by mezcalero Aurelio Gonzalez Tobon, this floral mezcal offers hints of spice, lilac, and tropical fruit. Thanks to the presence of agave Tobala, the drink has pronounced citrus notes to balance its creamy texture -- with some batches containing minute amounts of maguey Pizorra (agave Marmorata) from the same genetic family as Tepextate.
